The main star of the ” Fast and Furious ” franchise Vin Diesel has announced the official title for the tenth film. Through his Instagram account, this installment has a fairly simple name, ” Fast X “.
The upcoming sequel is the first of two films that will supposedly end the Fast Family saga. On his Instagram account, Diesel published a new logo for the upcoming sequel, which reuses the iconic “Fast” font over a large “X”.
The “X” in the logo mimics the headlights of a car, teasing the absurd racing set-pieces that are sure to appear in “Fast X”. With a caption that reads “Day one,” Diesel also used the logo reveal to confirm “Fast X” has officially started filming.
Unfortunately, not much is known about this installment. The highly-anticipated sequel will be the first in a two-film story that will reportedly end the franchise. “Fast X” will star Jason Momoa as the film’s main villain, another major superhero star involved in the franchise after Gal Gadot from ” Wonder Woman ” and John Cena from ” Peacemaker “.
The new cast also includes MCU’s Brie Larson . As Tyrese Gibson put it , “Fast X” would flesh out Don’s (Diesel) background even further. In the last film, ” F9 “, the leader of the Fast Family must face some people from the past, when his brother (Cena) returns to challenge him. While the franchise explores Don, fans are also excited to see what new surprises this sequel will bring to fans.
After co-writing and directing F9, Justin Li will return to helm both parts of Fast Family’s final adventure. “Fast X” will hit theaters on May 19, 2023.
